I knew Waterworks was an atypical branch. It doesn’t have any seating and is just a place for checkouts, returns and holds. However, it was really weird to visit. I stopped in, and was in a lobby. There was some vampire theatre show being advertised. A librarian at their desk had some mobile shelves in the lobby, but it didn’t look like the pictures of a little room I’d seen online. I guess there was some renovation? Or perhaps I went in the wrong way. I walked into the lobby and to the right looking around. The room I went into had a ton of pipes. I was surprised that it seems to be an active waterworks (I know many buildings in the city are named for old functions, and assumed there was no longer any waterworks taking place here). Even more surprised that I was able to just wander in there. I quickly turned around and left.
There is not even a CPL about page for Waterworks, so that is about as much as I know. But I can confirm “This location does not offer wifi, computers or printing.”
