After Budlong Woods, I made my last stop of the day at Sulzer Regional.
I knew that Harold Washington Library was the main library for CPL. However, I did not realize that there were “regional” libraries (vs the normal “neighborhood” libraries). Sulzer, Legler, and Woodson are the three “regional” branches in the CPL system. It is not completely clear to me what distinction those have for the regular patron.
I will say, Sulzer Regional was quite nice. It had the first floor with the children’s section and bathrooms. The second floor had alot of seating. There appeared to be a little third floor like a balcony that I saw as I was exiting. There was a ton of windows and natural light. And you could see between the floors. There was a nice view to the park across the street.
This was my fourth library of the day, so I was fading a little. I biked down Lincoln trying to keep up with an e-biker on my way home.
