Northtown

After visiting Rogers Park, I made my way over to Northtown.

Northtown was really new. There was some kind of housing or apartments above the library, which I hadn’t seen before. Inside, the bathroom was nice and there was a water bottle filling station, which is always appreciated. They had a little area where you could sit outdoors next to a tree, but still within the library. I worked from there for a while, but my keyboard got hot from the direct sunlight. I went back inside for a bit. The library was a big open space and had a good amount of seating. It was a really solid study spot that felt designed more for the new “libraries are for people to go and study or use computers” than the older “libraries provide books but you do not hang around as much”.

Afterwards, I headed to Budlong Woods.
